Preschool Registration Details

At this time, all PRD preschool programs are at capacity. Families are welcome to add their child to the 2021/2022 waitlist using the instructions below.

Registration is processed through PRD's recreation software site, Community Pass. For instructions to 1) create a family account, 2) add family members and 3) store payment information, please click HERE. These three items ARE REQUIRED to complete your preschool enrollment request.

  • Log onto Community Pass and choose the programs where you would like to add your child into the preschool lottery (up to 3 programs, if age applicable). During the enrollment process, if selecting more than one program, you will be asked your program preferences. Please indicate your choices as 1, 2, 3 or 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
  • Applicants will be placed on a "waitlist" and entered into the class lottery. You will NOT be charged at this time. (Please Note: Families are required to store payment information to their Community Pass account prior to choosing class selections.)
  • Following the lottery deadline(s), you will be notified of your registration status. If selected, your child will be enrolled and charged for ONE preschool program.
  • If your child is selected from the lottery and enrolled into a preschool program, the first month's tuition is due at the time of registration. Your family will be charged using the stored payment information on file (see brochure for details).
  • The first month's tuition is refundable (less a $50 processing fee) up to 14 days from the registration transaction date. Withdrawal requests must be made in writing. After 14 days, all payments are non-refundable.
  • If your child remains on a waitlist, you will not be charged.  During the school year, PRD Staff will access the waitlist and contact families as openings occur.
  • Toilet-Training Requirement: Children enrolled in Hillside Playschool, Skipping Stones, or Pre-K must be toilet-trained prior to the 1st day of attendance. Children enrolled in First Step or Tiddlywinks are not required to be toilet trained.
