About

For more than 40 years, the Piedmont Recreation Department has been the heartbeat of after school fun, offering affordable, high quality, play-based programs that families trust and love. We know families have busy and complicated schedules, and we’ve carefully designed our programs to be as flexible as possible. Our dedicated team ensures every child feels welcome, valued, included, and excited to play.

Schoolmates programs are designed to spark curiosity and creativity in children from TK to 5th grades. Each afternoon transforms into an adventure filled with enrichment from arts and crafts, cooking projects, group challenges, scavenger hunts, and outdoor games—all in a safe, nurturing environment.
