Voting in the March 5, 2024 Election
Published February 26, 2024
If you haven’t already done so, don’t forget to vote in the March primary election by 8pm on Tuesday, March 5. You can mail in your ballot, drop it at a secure drop box, or vote in person at any of 100 locations across Alameda County from Saturday, March 2 through Tuesday, March 5.
All registered voters were sent a vote-by-mail ballot in early February. If you are registered but did not receive a ballot by mail, contact the Alameda County Registrar of Voters at (510) 272-6933.
Voting at Veterans Memorial Building Saturday through Tuesday
Starting Saturday, you can vote in-person at any of 100 vote centers across Alameda County, including the Piedmont Veterans Memorial Building (401 Highland Avenue). Vote centers will be open:
- Saturday, March 2 – Monday, March 4: 9am-5pm
- Tuesday, March 5: 7am-8pm
A small subset of vote centers are open for a full 11 days before the election, from 9am-5pm daily starting Saturday, February 24. The nearest 11-day vote center to Piedmont is at Oakland Technical High School (4351 Broadway). A complete list of vote centers is available on the Alameda County Registrar of Voters website.
Conditional (“Same Day”) Voter Registration
If you missed the deadline to register for this election you can still vote provisionally by registering and voting at any vote center. Your ballot will be processed and counted after the Registrar of Voters has verified your information. This process takes time, so your ballot may not be included in the results reported on election night.
Measure F: City Services Tax renewal
