2022 Harvest Festival Outdoor Events Canceled

Published September 16, 2022

After much deliberation and hoping for a change in the impending storm’s arrival, the City of Piedmont has made the difficult decision to cancel all outdoor activities for Sunday’s Harvest Festival.

The weather forecast predicts significant rain and wind gusts starting early Sunday morning and through the early afternoon.

The Harvest Festival Planning Committee and City staff are extremely saddened about the cancelation of this wonderful Piedmont tradition. So much work has been put into the planning and we look forward to it every fall however, we are already talking about how to make 2023’s event bigger and better!

Edibles Contest

Since the Edibles Contest is held inside at the Community Hall, this portion of the event will not be affected by the inclement weather.

This is one of the most highly anticipated portions of the event and we are excited to continue the tradition of the community showing off their delicacies…the judging will go on!

If you haven’t had a chance to submit your entry form, there is still time. Please fill out this form online, attach a label to your entry and drop it off by 10 am on Sunday morning. Good luck!

Scarecrow Auction

Students across Piedmont have worked so hard on their scarecrows for months. The Piedmont Education Foundation (PEF) is currently working on creating a website to display these masterpieces and will be sending out additional information soon.
