Planning permit extensions
If you want to extend the expiration date of your approved planning permit for 6 more months, you need to apply for an administrative extension. You need to apply for the extension before the expiration date of the approved permit.
When you apply for an administrative extension, you will need the original approval date and original application number. These are in the original decision letter that was sent to you by staff when the project was first approved.
How to apply
The City of Piedmont has a new online permitting system called eTRAKiT. You can now apply for and track your administrative extension online. Paper and email applications for this permit type will no longer be accepted after December 11, 2023.
