Piedmont Community Pool
The Piedmont Community Pool is a year-round facility featuring a 12-lane lap swim/competition pool and a warm-water activity pool with 3 lap lanes and zero-depth entry. The facility offers swim lessons and aquatic fitness programs, locker rooms, lounge seating, and a rentable poolside room.
Visitors can purchase a single-use drop-in pass or an annual pass for unlimited visits year-round.

Swim Capacity
When the pool approaches capacity, entry will be limited and priority for admission will be given to passholders. You can check whether the pool is currently at capacity by visiting rec.us/piedmont (a yellow alert will be posted at the top of the page when the pool reaches capacity.)
You can also call us at (510) 420-3090 before your visit to check whether capacity limits are expected.

Our first year of operations at the Piedmont Community Pool is period of learning and adjustment, as we work to balance the needs of many user groups and maximize access to the water. We are continuously monitoring use patterns and looking for ways to better meet community needs. Your comments provide valuable context as we continue to refine our offerings.
Facility Hours
Summer Hours: June 8 - September 30
- Monday-Thursday: 6am-1pm; 2pm-7pm - midday closure 1-2pm
- Friday: 6am-1pm; 2pm-8pm - midday closure 1-2pm
- Saturday: 7am-8pm
- Sunday: 7am-6pm

Fall hours: Starting October 1, the pool will close at 7pm on Friday and Saturday.
