Moraga Canyon Specific Plan
The Moraga Canyon Specific Plan is a detailed plan for how to incorporate a minimum of 132 housing units, maintain City facilities, and improve recreational amenities on City owned land in Moraga Canyon while improving bicycle, pedestrian, traffic, and wildfire safety. On October 6, 2025, the Piedmont City Council held a public hearing, received public testimony, and adopted Resolution 55-2025, approving an Addendum to the 2023-2031 Housing Element Implementation EIR and approving the Moraga Canyon Specific Plan, Program 1.L of the Piedmont Housing Element. In addition, at the same public hearing, the City Council introduced the first reading of Ordinance 784 N.S. to amend the Zone B development regulations to comply with the Moraga Canyon Specific Plan.
